Diamond Recovery Grease Tables

Diamond Recovery Grease Tables

Diamonds are hydrophobic (repel water) and readily adhere to grease or oil. A Savana mining industrial grease table uses these physical properties to separate diamonds from alluvial gravels or kimberlite concentrate. Savana grease tables can be used as a final or secondary recovery circuit for diamonds. The grease table has proved highly beneficial in recovering more valuable Type II stones that do not respond well to X-ray sorters.
